A Burn2 Burner and an Honorarium
If you visited our Conception event the last weekend in July, you will have seen the effigy we had, created by 3V and Jeff Olhoeft, on a dais overlooking the stages and toward the gate. That was the virtual version of an honorarium project, Inikadowa, that will rise from the dust along with Black Rock City in just a couple of weeks. 3V and Jeff along with a team of passionate creatives are in the final stage of the build and scrambling for funds to complete it. Our Octoburn tradition each year is to follow the same art theme that Burning Man does at BRC. You can read more about "Axis Mundi" here.
The week of the 26th of October through 1st of November is our "afterglow week". Visitors are welcome to visit the playa and explore the camps, grab some gifts, and interact with various elements on the camps. Just explore, all across the regions!
On Saturday 7th November, noon and 6pm SLT/Pacific, there will be a culmination of the event with SKIN BURN, a reprise burn of the Man with everyone attending in a low complexity avatar.
